Model Search is an annual contest, open to men resident in Gibraltar between the ages of 17 and 30, and women resident in Gibraltar aged between 17 and 26. The contest offers the winners the opportunity to participate in international contests all over the world and to attend castings for runway shows, commercials and print work.

Past winners have gone on to compete in many prestigious contests all over the world to include China, South Korea, Australia, Turkey, Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany and the Philippines.

Although the contest can be taken as a serious step towards a modeling career it can also be seen as an opportunity to experience what basic modeling work can be about in a fun and character building way.

Three basic elements are used to determine the overall winner and the judges look for strong and striking features which also photograph well, a good runway style and an outgoing and dynamic personality.
